PA_CS,Bt_-February. The new Budgetary Bill provides _r a saving of 5566 million- francs. The general provisions of the Budget will cover the remaining margin, of 500 millions.: . . • : It is considered that 10,000' million francs in salary reductions and new revenue is all that can at present be sought. Ministers are therefore endeavouring to make up the deficit of 600_0_ million francs, which will be divided, equally • between ■ new. revenue and economies they have adopted. : A reduction of 638 million, francs in naval and military expenditure and increase in taxation "amounts only 7to 4 per cent, of tho total revenue.
