PALMEBSTON N., This Day. Charged on three counts with' theft, one including drapery and ladies' and men's ware, to the value of £110, Victor James Jameson was found guilty in the Supreme Court to-day. Sentence was deferred. • " I The accused, who was not represented by counsel, gave notice of appeal on the grounds that the verdict was against the weight of evidence. It was alleged that the accused stole several articles from a, car at Whakarongo, drapery, etc., from a car at Marton belonging to the traveller for a drapery firm, and benzolene from premises at Marton.
