"."• (By Telegraph.—Press Association.)' / ■ WANGANTJI, This Day. Bicycle thefts have been very common in Wanganui for' a considerable period, lemarked Mr. J. H. Salmon, S.M., this morning when William Mitchell was charged with the theft of. a bicycle. He added that he had
already expressed the opinion that they must be met with imprisonment. They meant a considerable loss and inconvenience to owners.- , ' ' .'
Mitchell was sentenced to three months' imprisonment.
