Gayford and Nicholetts are assisted by a third pilot, the Eobot, which will enable them to leave their seats and will keep a correct course in perfect safety. A hammock slung in the cabin enables either pilot to test. . The route lies over Paris, Corsica, Sardinia,; Tunisia, . Libya, French West Africa, Nigeria, French Equatorial Africa, Zesfontera, and Cape St Martin. The machine passed Avignoa at' 2 o'clock in the afternoon.
The course intended lies eastward of that taken by the Mollisons and is general on the great circle. Zesfontein is in the north of South West Africa, a few* miles' inland from Cape Frio, and Cape St. Martin is 100 miles north of Cape Town. ~
