THOUSANDS ARRESTED
POLICE DISCLOSURES
United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received 19th January, 2 p.m.) TOKIO, 18th January. < The police have lifted the ban oa the announcement of Communists' arrests in October, totalling two thousand, including Judges, Professors, intelligentsia, and a large number of women. JSlany of the persons arrested of both, sexes belonged to prominent families, during last year the-metropolitan police seized seven thousand suspects. .They claim that Communism has been destroyed.
