POST-SECTION RINKS
TO-DAY'S PLAY
Post-section play in the Dominion Bowling Association's ' rinks championship was continued to-day in perfect weather. On the Wellington greens this morning all the survivors in tho tournament were brought together. The two-lifers were Jenkins v. Naylor, and Efford v. Gilbert. The one-lifers were Gordon v. Edwards, Fielding v lyes, J. R. Smith v. Dee, Eendlo v. Maxwell Walker, and J. B. Eeid v. Benefield. The Wellington greens are standing up well to tho tremendous tax of the tourney. They are naturally not in the condition of last week, but are fairly fast. All games began at 9 a.m. The wind was light. FIRST ROUND. The first round cf the second day's post-section rink play resulted as follows: — ■ , Two-Lifers. Naylor (Lyall Bay), 18; Jenkin (Carlton), 9. . \ Gilbert (Karori), 25; Efiord (Edeeware), 14. . .; One-Lifers. Maxwell Walker (Auckland), 19Eendle (Eastbourne), 16. SECOND ROUND DRAW. The draw for the second round of post-section play en the Wellington lower green this afternoon was as follows:— Gilbert (two lives) v. Gordon (one life). - * Naylor, a bye. One-Lifers. Ives v. Smith. Walker v. Beneneld. « Jenkin v. Efford. The semi-finals will be played to-mor-row. . ~
