HORSE'S LONG TETHER
Seventy feet was-tho length of the tether on a horse left in Green street, Lower Hutt, on a recent night, according to a statement made by Sergeant J. W. MeHolm in . the Magistrate's Court at Lower Hutt to-day, when prosecuting Giovionni Menchi for tethering a horse in Green street. The sergeant said that the horse had wandered across the road and that a cyclist had fallen over the tether at 12.45 a.m., slightly hurting himself and his machine. Menehi pleaded guilty and was fined 10s.
