SERVICE TO SUNDERLAND

(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, 14th January. Sir John Priestman, the Sunderland shipbuilder, who recently made public gifts of about £100,000, and who was presented with the honourable freedom of Sunderland yesterday in recognition of his public services, announced that he had executed a trust deed allocating £100,000 to benefit local charities.
