MR. DAVID MORGAN
Mr. David Morgan, a well-known journalist^ died at Christehurch last night. His health broke down seriously sis months ago. He'was apparently recovering, but a fatal relapse set in recently. The late Mr. Morgan began his career with.the "Lyttelton Times" thirty-five years ago, and soon gave evidence of exceptional. ability. He had some years of service with the "Dominion," the "New Zealand Times," the "Timaru Post," and the "Timaiu Herald." During the past few years he was chief of the reading staff of the "Press,'' Christciurch. In; addition to an all-round working knowledge in the journalistic field,' Mr. ■ Morgan had a notable distinctive touch as a feature writer. . . ' ■
