A jumble sale will be held to-mor row (Friday) evening at 7 o'clock ii St. Thomas' Hall, Biddiford street, ty the Chilton House Old Girls' Associa tion. Contributions may be left at tin hall between 4 and 6.30 to-morron afternoon, or with Miss A. Newton, 62 Bowen street,.or Miss E. Danbv, 258 Oriental parade. Garden Party'at .Western. Hutt... There will be many attractions ;a the garden party organised by thi Queen Margaret College Old Girls which will be held at "Whitmuir,"th( residence of Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Kers ley, Western Hutt; on Saturday'after noon. Special buses have been ar ranged for visitors from the city, ant details' of transport are advertised ii this issue. Pleasant surrounding: amidst flowers and ferns and a gloriou: view will make a visit to the gardei well worth while, and a cornei will be set aside for the children.; Com -petitions with attractive .prizes, -mtisii by St..
