POLISH CHURCH TRAGEDY
CONGREGATION BURIED
(Received 22nd November, 10 a.m.) LONDON, 21st November. The "News-Chronicle's" correspond-1 eat at Warsaw says that while a congregation of--a- thousand was attending Mass at the Church of the Holy Cross and a wedding service was being celebrated in an adjoining chapel, the floor collapsed. The bride and bridegroom, the priest, and hundreds of worshippers were buried in the debris, and the choir was thrown to the bottom of the thous-and-year-old cellars beneath the church. Many casualties are feared.
