OLD NAVALS CLUB

The Old Navals Defence Rifle Club continued its programme at Trentham on Saturday; sho.oting for championship, Rabe " Cup, and Hodder Cup. The^ weather was dull, arid ;' made sighting very difficult, and a choppy left and right wind caused trouble. Shooting at 300 yards Riflemen F. E. Franklyn and M. O'Grady put on a well-earned 48, followed by Riflemen F. Monk and C. Lawton, junr., 44 each. At 500 yards Rifleman C. Stone, J. Stephens, and J. Bell all scored 45 each. Scores are as follows:—
