Mrs. Dudley Newbigin, Hastings, is spending several weeks with her aunt,; Mrs. Creagh O 'Connor, Grant road. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Batten, Murphy street, left to-day by car for a tour of the North. ■ . .. Miss Nellie Scanlan will arrfre in Wellington by the Rangitane, which is due on Thursday afternoon. • ■ Miss Ola Harvey has returned to "Wellington after a, - visit to Christchurch. ':.'-. Miss Kiore King, Christehuroh, willarrive in Wellington this week en route to.-, Hastings, where she will spend* several months "^vith her father. .. Mrs. W. Manor, Masterton, who has' been visiting .Wellington, will leave : this week to visit her father, Mr. IJobert Wilson, St. Martin's, Christchureh.' Madame Winnie Fraser, Christehureh, .will arrive in .Wellington early next month to fulfil a. professional engagement, and will then proceed to Auckland, where she has been engaged to sing in "The Messiah," to be produced by the Auckland Choral.
