NAPIER TO WELLINGTON

Approximately two hundred excursionists came from Napier and district to Wellington by the special train arranged for last week-end as part of the "community service" which the railways offer to travellers. The party reached Wellington soon after 6 p.m. on Saturday and returned home by a special train which left Thorudon last evening. Some took the opportunity offered of returning by this morning's Napier express. Wellington is looking its best at present, and many of the visitors who visited the' Botanical Gardens on Sunday were greatly impressed by the fine flowers, trees, and shrubs.
