STOP-WORK MEETING
WATERSIDERS' DECISION
It is understood that at:a stop-work meeting of waterside workers this morning it was decided to load the balance of the Port Dunedin's.frozen meat consisting of about 8000 carcases. As, however, the decision was not notified officially t© the/shipping company until between. 11 and 11.30 a.m., and it was then too late for a call for labour to be made, the crew continued to work the ship during the day. The latest time for a call on .Saturdays to work a ship, in port is 10.30 a.m. - A call for labour < will be made on Monday morning. • The Port Dunedin is to leave "Wellington at'noon on Monday for Gisborne and Auckland to complete loading for London.
