DUNEDIN, 18th November. .In the Arbitration Court1 to-day a claim for compensation was brought to determine in the first place a question of liability. ■-.'■;"■■ :. - v -; The plaintiff wa s - . employed on a thrashing mill which was taken by its owner, to the : defendant > s farm. While at work the plaintiff fell from the top of the mill and was injured. The question at issue -was whether the mill owner or the farmer was the responsible pcirty. ■ ■.. ■ .
After hearing evidence the Court decided that the plaintiff was in the employ of the farmer. The matter of compensation was held over for further hearing.
