BOY EMPLOYMENT DRIVE
I In connection with the proposed J'Back to Prosperity" month and. the intention of the Boy Unemplovmeut Committee to ask the employers ■of Wellington to provide work for 500 boys before Christmas, arrangements are now Well' in iand for a personal canvass of the city with a .view to placing boys in employment. The convener of the No. 3 Sub-Committee, Mr. Phil Myers, reports that already between twenty and thirty business men have promised to undertake' this work. In order to visit every employer, however, it is essential that 100 visitors should be engaged. The work should not ocenpy more than an "hour per day; for several days per weelr, the'-whblV task to be completed within three weeks. Business men and retired gentlemen -who , are impressed with the urgency of the boy unemployment problem are invited to volunteer their services.
