NEXT WEEK'S LEGISLATION
One of the bulkiest legislative measures for some time, a consolidation of the Municipal Corporations Act, will ba introduced in the House of Bepresenta" tives on Tuesday. On the same day an. amendment to the Mortgagors' Belief Act and a Bill consolidating the apprenticeship legislation will come before the House.
These measures were considered byj Cabinet this morning, and, with the exception of the Municipal Corporations Act, they wore approved. Minor amendments are to be made to. the Municipal Corporations consolidation measure, but these will be completed on Monday. '„ The Prime Minister (the Right Hon. G. W. Forbes) said that no new principles were involved in this measure, but that some of the recommendations of the Municipal Associations Conference would be given effect to. These related principally to the better administration of the Act. . ' -."
