A SCOUT CENSUS

DOMINION INCREASE

Despite the difficulty of the times, the annual census of Scouts taken, at 30th September last shows increase in the Dominion of 588 of all ranks, according to the annual report of the executive, to be presented at to-mor-row's meeting of the Boy Scout Coun oil. Compared with last year's figures, most districts show an increase, especially the country areas. The question of finance is touched upon in tho report, which views with somo misgivings the precarious state of the funds and the lack of assistance from various districts.
