OTTAWA, 13th October. The Progressives on Thursday moved a sub-amendment .to the Address-in-Reply stressing financial reform. The sub-amendment urges that Dominion control of currency and credit \jc so exercised as to provide and maintain sufficient purchasing power to raise tho pricb-of agricultural products and other primary commodities to.au equitable level in relation to tho cost of production, and the settlement of outstanding^ liabilities, public and private, and the increase of consumption, thereby stimulating industry and providing employment, and that the issue of this currency and credit should be based upon the natural wealth and produce tivo capacity of tbo country, and not as at present upon -one single commodity—gold. , -

Tho tentative arrangements for Thursday are for a vote on the amendments and Address, and on Monday afternoon tho Imperial Conference agreements will be, taken up, iminediatoly following the division.
