Messrs. Hurray, Roberts, and Co., Ltd., have received the following wool market cablegram, from their London agents, dated 13th October:—"Sales have closed firm, all sections operating freely. Continental buyers principal operators. Compared with last -Londonsale's closing rates — greasy merino, wool suitable for the Continent, advanced 10 per cent.; other descriptions, advanced 5 per cent. Scoured merino, except inferior descriptions, advanced 5-7% per cent.; inferior market shows no change. Scoured merino skin wool advanced 10 per cent. Crossbred greasy comeback and fine advanced 10 to 15- per cent.; medium and coarse, 10 per cent.; crossbred scoured fine, advanced 5 to 10 per cent.; scoured, other descriptions, par to 5 per cent, advance. Slipe fine crossbred advanced 10 to 15 per cent. S.lipe crossbred, other descriptions, advanced 5 to 10 per cent." The Bank of New South Wales has received the following cable from its London office:—"Wool sales closed firm at 10 per cent, above July closing prices. Competition well maintained." Messrs. Murray, Roberts, and Co., Ltd., are also in receipt of the following wool closing market quotations by their London agents:— Oct. July, d. d.
