A cablegram received by a Wellington "exporting house yesterday read as follows:—"Butter market'depressed. Dull with downward tendency- all this .week, led by withdrawal of support of- the Danish market, following error of slight advance last week. Low - c.i'.f. offers-Australian also making buyers nervous.- Danish, 97s to 98s (f.o.b:); New Zealand, finest salt butter 109s to: 110s,firsf salt butter. 102s; Australian, 1005,:985.."
