GISBOBNE, This Day. Having lived in the Dominion for 92 years, Mrs. Elizabeth Neal, widow of Captain William Neal, who for many years was master of tho Union- Company's tender Snark, died last night at the age of 93. - .
Born in Edinburgh Castle, where her father was garrisoned* as a, member of the Blaclc Watch, she landed in NewZealand as an infant in arms, and spent most of her childhood years in Wellington and lived later in the Manawatu and Hawkes Bay districts. She had been a resident of Gisborne for 46 years. , • .
