BROKEN BYLAWS
Offenders against the bylaws were dealt with at the Magistrate's Court yesterday, afternoon by Mr. W. H. Woodward, S.M. George Tinkler and Marcus Paterson, were each fined £4 for.speeding with motor-lorries. For failing to obtain aMieavy traffic licence, Harold Thomas was i convicted and t ordered to pay 10s costs. Fines of 5s in «ach case were inflicted on Frederick J. Kember and Thomas J. Carter fop not having rear lights showing on. motor vehicles after dark. Arthur D. Wright was convicted and ordered to pay 10s costs for a similar offence.: Driving in a manner which might have been dangerous to the public cost Gordon L. Prince 10s. For driving without a licence William Campbell jvag fined £1. Winnie O'Shea was convicted and ordered to pay 10s costs! for a similar offence. ' A fine of 10s was imposed on Thomas G. Hackshaw for not having a motor-car properly lighted after dark. -" . : . Failing to give way at an intersection cost Charles Marshall £1. ■ --.
