For the second day of the Gisborne Racing Club's Meeting the attendance is marred by tho weather. Rain set in just before the first race.

Taruheru Hack Handicap, of SO soys; ono mile.—l Little Wonder, 9.0, 1; 2 Golden Pennant, 7.9, 2; 3 Earthquake, 8.8, 3. Scratched: Imperial Fame, Bugle Call. Won by a length and three-quarters. Time, lmin 41 2-ssec.
Second Hurdles Handicap, of 100 soys; one mile and a half.—2 Simeon, 10.12, 1; 3 Tall Timber, 9.3, 2; 1 Russet Moor, 11.0, 3. Also started: Cragsman. Won by a length. Time, 2min ■18 2-oscc.
Juvenile Handicap, of SO soys; five furlongs.—l Stitch, 5.2, 1; i Master Frank, 8.0, 2; 2 Princess Star, 7,0, 3. Scratched: Good Hunting. Won by a length and a half. Time, lmin 2*2-5 sec.
