(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HAMILTON, This Day. The Matamata Racing Club's Annual Meeting is being held to-day in fine weather. The attendance and course are good.

Results:—

Th-au Hack Hurdles Handicap, of 100 soys; one mile five furlongs and one chain. —2 Cargen, 9.12, 1; 6 Standfast, 9.12, 2; 7 Sports King, 9.0, 3. All started. Won by half a length. Time, Sunn 1 2-ssec.

Hinuera Handicap, of 75 soys; six furlongs.—2 Woodfall, S.O, 1; 5 Searcher, 8.11, 2; 9 Abbey Dream, 8.9, 3. Scratched: Booklaw, Rangi King, and Upoko. Won by a length. Time, lmin 15soe.
