la the House of Commons, Captain Eden, Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs, told a questioner that the Dominions had been kept in close touch ■with the Sino-Japanese situation throughout, both telegraphically and through the delegations at Geneva. There was no reason to doubt that the step taken by the Imperial Government had commanded their general approval.
