SPEED RIDERS OBJECT
REDUCED PRIZE MONEY

CHBISTCHUBCH, This Day.
Dissatisfaction was expressed at a meeting of speedway riders last evening with the 'amount paid for machine maintenance by the local speedway proprietors. It was unanimously decided that riding under the present conditions of reduced prize money wag entirely unprofitable, and that riders would not enter for any further meetings after Saturday night. Tho.secretary reported that representations which had been made to Christchurch Stadiums, Ltd., had met with an unsympathetic reception.
