At the last examinations of the Cham- ■ ber of Commerce, BANKS COMMERCIAL COLLEGE obtained 116 passes (60 passes with Honours and Distinction), more than one-third of all the passes in and outside of Wellington. ■ ' In the Shorthand speed tests' we gained 100 per cent, of passes-at rates from 80 to 160, with 31 passes with Honours and Distinction. In the last Public Service Examinations 7 out of the first 8 places in Order of Merit in the Senior Division were gained by Banks Pupils. In the Junior Divison •we gained 100 per cent, of passes, the first 5 places being gained by our pupils.
