SPEEDWAY RACING
THIS WEEK'S MEETING,
Jn addition to the big "supply of local talent, there will be several riders from overseas at the Kilbirnie Stadium Speedway on Saturday night, and in the' events to be decided at the meeting there will be new features. Two handicap contests are to,be held, and one of these," for 'the twelve best riders,, will be conducted; on the "yards behind" basis, a changed form of starting .■which, should give added interest to the- racing. Match ■' duels shouldi be among the most interesting events, and in these the meeting of Key and" Kilmister should account for very keen and exciting competition. A district challenge race between Hunger and-Tbhks is another event of interest, while a novelty event is pected to provide an acceptable surprise packet. The twelve leading riders at the meeting will be Bishop, Key, Frogley, and Duckett (from overseas), Kilmister, Tonks, Phillips, Hunger, Appleyard, Rait, V. Mangham, and Wilkinson.
