SYDNEY, 3rd February. On the Stock Exchange to-day, Australian 'Consols suffered a further setback. The four per cents., 1938, were down 22s 6d at £92 15s; four per cents., 1944, down, 20s at £92 ss; four per cents., 1941, 7s 6d at £92 7s 6d; four per cents., 1947, 15s at £92 15s; four per cents., 1950, 10s at £94; four per cents., 1955, 17s 6d at £91 17s 6d; four per cents., 1959, 17s 6d at £93; and four per cents., 1961, 20s at £93 2s 6d. Bank of New South Wales sold at the late level' of £30; National Bank of Australasia £5 paid, at' £5 16s.' Sugar shares received more support,- Colonial Sugar selling at £43 10s and: Fairymead Sugar at 23s 6d. United Insurance sold-at .£8 15s. Other sales: Dunlop-Perdriau, 13s; Goldsbrough Mort, 26s 6d; Tooths, 27a; British Tobacco, 30s 3d; Winchcombe Carson, 19s 9d; Australian: Gas A, £5 ,15s; North Broken Hill, 68s 6d; Mount Lyell, 23s 3d.
