BERLIN/ 3rd February. Herr Adolf Hitler, the Nazi leader, has been naturalised as a German citi* zen, and is now eligible as a candidate for the Presidency.
It is revealed that Jhe Fascist Minis, ter of the Interior of . Thuringia ia July, 1930, secretly appointed Heri; Hitler Commissioner of Gendarmerie^ thus making him a German citizen, as foreigners are debarred from holding office in Germany.
Two officials secretly signed th» naturalisation document.' Hitler"soon, resigned. He did not receive, any pay. The present non-Fascist Thuringiari Government disclosed the facts to tlie Berlin Cabinet,, whose legal adviser* are examining the document with » view to contesting its legality.; ' Herr Hitler has, instructed the ex« General yon Epp and ex-Colonel HaseU meyer to proceed to Geneva to wateS the attitude of the German delegatioa at the Disarmament Conference. •
