WORK PROCEEDING TO-DAY
PRELIMINARY INQUIRY
After being held up yesterday by a dispute; oyer the waterside workers' rates of pay in handling-cargo that had been damaged by fire, the last-of the damaged cargo has been discharged,-and loading operations commenced to-day. A small portion of the damaged wool will be reconditioned in time to pro/ceed on the Port Fremantle to, London. The route, it is announced,, will be via Cape Horn and Dakar. •
-Temporary.repairs to Port Fremantle will, be , to-day, and the ship will, undergo a complete overhaul in England.' '-■"■■ ,".'f. ~■
