GRASS AND SCRUB FIRE

.;..- • CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. A huge grass and scrub fire is reported from the Rolleston district. It has a frontage ,of a mile and has advanced two.miles towards Springston, with a fierce nor'-wester behind it. All the residents of the district are engaged in fire-fighting. Destruction of farm properties is feared.
