SEVERAL STAFF CHANGES

A number of changes of appointments of Salvation ■ Army officers affecting Wellington will take place next week. Adjutant and Mrs. Green, of the Vivian street Citadel, are going to New Plymouth. They will be eucceedcd by Ensign and Mrs. Montgomery, from Invercargill. . . . Commandant and Mrs. Podmore, of the Wellington South Corps, are going to Duneclin South, and will be succeeded by Adjutant and Mrs. Canty, from Sydenharn. ■ Captain and Mrs. Risley, of the Miramar Corps, are going to Masterton, and will be succeeded, by ■ Ensigii and Mrs. Duggan, from Stratford. • Captain Eva I/egg, of the Karori Corps, is going to Hikurangi in the farnorth, and will.be succeeded by Lieutenant Laurence Lindsay. Lieutenant -Murray, of Island Bay,. is going to Upper, Hutt to assist Captain Christopher. Captain l^-ank-Hay, from. Cambridge, will take charge of the .Island Bay: Corps. In the Women's Social Department a change is taking place at .the- Wellington Maternity Home. Major Margaret Simpson, the matron, is being granted furlough on account- of illhealth, and will be succeeded, by -Adjutant Ethel Nairn, .from, the Christ.church Maternity Home. " Captain Elvie Young, lias been appointed to the Wellington Industrial Home for Women, and Lieutenant MyrtTo Halpin to tho .'Wellington Maternity Hospital. Lieutenant Jessie Hannaford is moving from the Welling--lon Industrial Home, to the Gisborne Hospital.
