Mr. and Mrs. Harden, Kelbuin, are paying a holiday visit to French Pass. Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Mouatij, Aurora terlacc, and their son aie staying at Kakati, Wanganui. Lady Fenwick, Duncdni, Avho has been visiting her daughtei, Mis. Pcroival James, Bolton stieet, will leave for. the ;South this 'evening. Mrs. James will accompany her mother to Duncdin. Mr. and M^rs. W. S. Pearce and Miss Alison Pearce, Hobson street, returned to "Wellington last week atter spending Christmas in: Nelson-. Mr! and Mrs. Alex Giaj, Mi&s Marjorie Gray, and Mi. Sinclair Giay aie motoring in Xorth Auckland, and will return to "Wellington via Eotoiua and Chateau Tongarao. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Hannah letuined to Wellington this morning by the Marama after spending some .months in Sydney. Mrs. V. J. Pearce, Hobson street, returned home last evening. Misa Joan Gard'nery Christchurch, will arrive on Wednesday to visit Miss Valeric Denniaton, Jjower Hutt. Mr. and Mrs. L. Denton and family, Hastings, are spending the holidays at Lowry Bay. Mrs. Beaumont Smith, "Wellington, is a visitor to Auckland. v ' Sir Mark and. Lady Sheldon, who arrived in Wellington last week fiom Sydney, now visiting the South Island. One of the most novel wedding gitts oa record was received by Miss Rosalind Henley, who recently mairied Captain George Pitt-Rivers, once in Australia as A.D.C. to Lord Forstei, the Governor-General (states an exchange).
