BEACH IN BAD ORDER

(By Telegraph.) (Special to "Tho Evening Post.") AUCKLAND, This Day. The beach last evening, when Mr. Smith mado an inspection of it, was in the worst condition for years, according to local residents. The surface was pitted with unexpected holes and sharp undulations, running irregularly across the beach.

"We need a good spring tide to smooth out the surface," said Mr. Smith. "There is no possibility of running the racing car until the surface is improved, but the beach is not likely to remain long in its present condition."
