MANAWATU SPEEDWAY.
Manawatu residents and visitors to' the district are being provided with a special
holiday attraction at the Speedway on the Palmerston North Showgrounds to-movrosv night. One of the main features-of the meeting will be a series of match races between Wally Kilmistcr (making his first appearance oii. the iManawatu Speedway this eeason) and Jack Jackson and Nobby Key, two members of the visiting English Test team. The thrill, of broadsiding should be brought out in full. by these noted riders, and there will also be plenty of excitement in the series of races between the Wellington' and Manawatu teams. Ifc is.expected that, with the track in good order, some very fast .times will be recorded,, especially .by Kilmister and Key. In the match racing some very fine performances are likely, and the best of the riders will also be put to solid tests in the handicap event.
