ROBBER, NOT ROBBED
COUNTRY RACE VISITOR BANK TELLER CHARGED (Received 9th October, 2 p-m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. The self-styled country visitor who oa Monday told the police that he had been robbed of £1000 by two women was not so simple as he pretended. A suburban bank teller's sudden disappearance led to police inquiries, and the detectives arrested him- at a secluded seaside camp. Later Orlando Boyd Dedman was charged, with stealing £3640 from the Petersham branch of the Bank of New South Wales. The police were informed that the man had been betting heavily at Randwick. Over £1000 has been recovered,
