NEW POWER PLANT
A DUAL USE

HOKITIKA, This Day.
The Kauieri Electric, Ltd., has completed a new water race and power station at Kanieri Forks, giving an increased supply of electric power for the working of the new dredge at Eimu Flat and power for Hokitika,
The new plant commenced working on Sunday, and transmitted power to the new dredge which was completed last week and commenced dredging operations on Monday morning. The whole plant is working smoothly.
