MORE BANK FAILURES
(Received 9th October, 10 a.m) PHILADELPHIA, Bth October. The Girard Avenue Trust Company, with resources of over 4,300,000 dollars, closed to-day. The-bank's president said:-"We are one more victim of the hysteria which is sweeping the country.?' The First National Bank of Ocean City, the oldest banking firm in this district, closed following the suicide of the president of the institution.
