Losses of £6,000,000 on the year's exports, are expected as the result of the action by Britain, India, Egypt, and Scandinavia in abandoning the gold standard, according to the survey of the Eponomic Research Board, which is acutely apprehensive of further efforts through Britain's stronger export competition as well as her reduced importing capacity.
