Young, Heretaunga, left Wellington last evening for Christchurch for tho Christ's College sports.. ' Mrs. V. F. Boyle has left for Tiinaru, where she is the guest of her mother, Mrs. Howard Tripp. Miss D. K. Richmond, Hill street, is visiting Dr. and Mrs. Fell, Mahina Bay. Mrs. J. Harper, Wellington, is a visitofrto Auckland.- ■ Mrs. Stono-Wigg, Waihi School, has returned South aftor a visit to tho North Island. Mrs. Kershaw, wife of Captain Kershaw, will arrive in Wellington noxt •week, by tho Tamaroa from England. • Mrs. 11. Murray-Aynsley, who has been visiting the North Island, has returneel to her homo in Cbristchurch. Mis.i' Innes Gould, Sydney, Who has been visiting Ghristchurch, will arrive in Wellington on Saturday, and will stay with Lady Beauehanip, Hobsqn street. Mrs. R. B. Wbceley, Oriental Bay, is sponding a few weeks with her parents, Lient.-Colonel and 'Mrs. Murphy, Fendalton, Christchurch. Mrs,. E, Samuel, J'cndalton, Christchurch, has returned home after a visit to the North Island. , Mrs. I. Salek's many friends will be interested to know that she is remaining in Auckland for the present, and is with her eon, Mr. Victor Salek, at 13, Hamilton road, Herne Bay, Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Smith have returned to Wellington after a holiday visit to Nelson. Mrs. Colin Monro is a Wellington visitor, to Auckland. Five women, who will leave shortly for tho Indian mission field, were entertained by the Baptist Women's Missionary Union in the Vivian Street Church schoolroom yesterday afternoon. They were Miss E. Arnold and Miss H: Eice (who are returning after fur* lough), Dr. N. Ivory, Miss M. Bush, and Miss Harry. The, president, Mrs. A. Anstice, assured them of the esteem and interest of 'the members' of the union, and presented each with a small gift as a token of affection. - Dr. and Mrs. Gordon Anderson are leaving- for the North' this evening; They expect to return to Wellington on Tuesday next. • ' ,
