TO-NIGHT IN THE HOUSE

At the top of the Order Paper for to-night's sitting of the House of Representatives appears tho Transport Licensing Bill. The debate on the motion to commit the measure was interrupted a fortnight ago- before the formation of the new Ministry, and the ex-Minister of Transport (the Hon. W. A. Veitch) was replying when the adjournment was taken. It is understood that the Bill has been amended by the new Cabinet, and the alterations may or may not appear at to-night'a sitting. The Rural Intermediate Oedit Amendment Bill is also set down for committal.
