NEW PRINCIPAL
WANGANUI GIRLS' COLLEGE
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WANGANUI, 6th October. Miss A. C. Tizard, at present senior mistress of the Hamilton High School, has been appointed lady principal of the Wauganui Girls' College, and will take up duty at the college at the beginning of next year. Mies Tizard was invited to meet tho Wanganui Girls' College Board of Governors to-day, and made the journey from Hamilton. She left again on her return by the midnight express. The new principal received her education at the Girls' Grammar School at Auckland and the Auckland University Colleg*. Her first teaching appointment was at St. Cuthbert 's, Auckland, after which she taught for five years at the Auckland Girls' Grammar School. After teaching for three years at the New Plymouth Girls' High School she! wont to India and England. On returning to New Zealand she went back to New Plymouth,;where she remained for a year. Since then Miss Tizard has i taught at tho Hamilton High School, where she was senior mistress, and was also in chargo of the girls' hostel.
