NGAIO CLUB
The official opening of the tennis season at Ngaio last Saturday was marked by a good muster of members and Jnends. The courts were declared open by tue club's president, Mr. N. D. Macleod, who remarked especially on the keen spirit which he had noted this year m the club management. A doubles handicap tournament was run during the afternoon, and resulted in a tie in points between B. Smith and Miss Hodges and Blackburn and Mrs. Ross, but as the former pair had won more games they were declared the winners. . i!.
