BIG WRESTLING
MEESKE v. ALLEY.
The much-discussed wrestling match betweeii Billy Mceske and Tom Alley is to take place at the Town Hall on Monday night next, and there should be a great crowd at the bout, which should prove a thrilling one. Alley, who is the light-heavy-weight champion of the world, states he ir confident of beating Meeske, but the latter who, a few years ago also held that title and the same, belt, thinks he is .a better wrestler than Alley and that .he will therefore win the match. Meeeke has beaten- Ted Thye and Al Karasick in America, while in this country he has had three matches for three wins. He defeated Sa»n Burmister at Hastings, Krai? Elliott at luvercargill, and Stanley Buresh at Dunedin last night. Meeske is in great form, and all those who wish to see> the bout would be well advised to book their seats at the Ritz .tobacconist in Manners street. This will be Meeske's first appearance in Wellington. He is to train out at the Central Fire Station &\ 8 o clock tomorrow night, and all those who would UKa to see this wrestler's exhibition are invited to attend.
