BEAUTIFUL WEATHER
BUT CHANGING SLOWLY
Tho anti-cyclone responsible for the fine weather of the last few days has since last night shown a more decided tendency to move away eastward, and a steady fall in barometric pressure has been marked in southern districts. Fine, mild, and pleasant weather has prevailed generally, all tha chief centres yesterday enjoying spring-like weather. But this morning there is an increase in cloud in many districts, and at Kussell at 9 a.m. rain was falling. Northerly winds have freshened somewhat in exposed situations, but winds as a whole have remained generally liglit to moderate. To-day's forecast indicates freshening northerly winds. The weather is likely to become cloudy to overcast, with fog or mist in places. Scattered rain will develop generally, more especially in districts with a westerly aspect and in far northern and southern districts. Temperatures will continue mild.
