MELBOURNE. sth October. Illustrious returned to Flemington today. Koomela is coining from Sydney for the Derby and the Cup. Caultield Cup scratchings are: Harbinger, KnighVs-Favour, Glideaway. MV M'Cavten will arrive in Melbourne on Friday to ride Ammon Ra in the Caulfield Guineas. A. Wilson is engaged td ■ ride Royal Barb' in the Caulfield Cup. Vigne and Royal, Barb both looked well in useful tasks on the tracks .to-day. ■
