SPORTS CLUB OPENINGS

Three of the summer sport clubs.opened the season at Lower Hutt on Saturday, the Methodist Tennis Club, the Waimarie Croquet Club, and the Waiwhetu Tennis Club. The ceremony at the two former clubs was performed by the Mayor, Mr. W. T. Nash, M.P. The season of the Petone Cricket Club was officially opeued at the Petone Recreation Grounds on Saturday afternoon by Mr. W. Nash. M.P., who was introduced by Mr. J.
